Terms of Service
Effective date: April 12, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GoDizzy’s websites, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). GoDizzy (“GoDizzy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers the Services at godizzy.dev. For questions about these Terms, contact us at hello@godizzy.dev.
1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. The services
GoDizzy provides tools to configure how HTTP requests are handled, including returning mock responses and proxying requests to endpoints you specify, along with an administrative interface to manage routing configuration, teams, and related settings. Features may change over time.
The Services are provided from infrastructure that may include edge networks, databases, and caches. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for activity under your account.
We may refuse service, suspend accounts, or limit access where we reasonably believe it is necessary for security, legal compliance, or to protect the Services or other users.
4. Organizations and team access
If your account is associated with an organization (for example, via your identity provider or our authentication partner), administrators for that organization may be able to manage users, access certain configuration, and restrict your use of the Services. Their actions may affect your access.
5. Your configurations and responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Routing configuration you create (including mock responses, proxy targets, headers, and paths).
- Traffic and systems you connect to the Services, including backends you proxy to and any data those systems process.
- Compliance with laws and third-party obligations applicable to your use (including privacy, export, and industry-specific rules).
- Security of your secrets, API keys, and endpoints, and for any misuse arising from weak controls.
You represent that you have all rights and consents needed to route, mock, or proxy requests and to process data as you configure.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to allow others to:
- Violate applicable law or infringe others’ rights.
- Transmit malware, conduct unauthorized access, or disrupt the Services or third-party systems.
- Send spam, engage in phishing, or misrepresent identity or origin.
- Attempt to bypass usage limits, security controls, or billing mechanisms.
- Use the Services to mine cryptocurrency, run abusive load tests against third parties without authorization, or otherwise impose unreasonable load on the Services or third parties.
- Reverse engineer the Services except where prohibited by law.
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
7. Third-party services
The Services may integrate with third parties (for example, authentication, payments, or cloud infrastructure). Those providers have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of those integrations is also subject to their terms where applicable.
Payment processing for paid subscriptions is provided by Dodo, our merchant of record; Dodo collects payment and handles payment-related processing subject to Dodo’s terms and privacy policy.
8. Fees, trials, and billing
Paid plans, fees, taxes, and billing cycles are presented at checkout or in your account. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in an order.
You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on the agreed schedule. If payment fails, we may suspend paid features or access.
Price and plan changes will be communicated as described at the time of change or in your agreement.
8.1 Payment processor and merchant of record
Payments for paid plans are processed by Dodo, which acts as merchant of record for those transactions. Dodo collects payment (including applicable taxes where applicable) on behalf of GoDizzy (legal entity name and jurisdiction: registration in process). GoDizzy does not receive or store your full payment card details; those are provided directly to Dodo. You agree that billing-related communications may come from Dodo or from us on Dodo’s behalf, and that you will comply with Dodo’s terms, privacy policy, and refund or dispute processes as applicable. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Dodo’s payment terms solely as they relate to how payment is collected, Dodo’s terms govern that limited payment-collection relationship.
9. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Services, our branding, and our software. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for your internal business purposes during your subscription or trial.
You grant us a license to host, process, and display your configurations and related content as needed to provide and improve the Services, secure accounts, and comply with law.
Feedback you provide may be used without obligation to you.
10. Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public information of the other. The receiving party will use reasonable care to protect it and use it only for the purpose of the Services, except as required by law.
11. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for notices and consents required for any personal data you route or process through the Services.
12. Service changes and availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Where material adverse changes affect paid subscriptions, we will provide reasonable notice when practicable. We are not liable for downtime caused by maintenance, third parties, or events outside our reasonable control.
13. Term and termination
These Terms apply from your first use until terminated. You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment where applicable, risk to the Services, or legal reasons.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. We may delete data according to our retention practices and Privacy Policy. Provisions that by nature should survive (including payment obligations accrued, liability limits, indemnities, and dispute terms) will survive.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements, that mock or proxied behavior will match your expectations in every environment, or that third-party systems you connect will be available or secure.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THAT PERIOD OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100), EXCEPT THAT THE FOREGOING CAP DOES NOT APPLY WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW (FOR EXAMPLE, LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR STATUTORY RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED).
16. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents against third-party claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your configurations, your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
17. Export and sanctions
You will comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws. You represent that you are not prohibited from using the Services and will not use the Services in embargoed regions or for prohibited end uses.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and updating the effective date. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law or as stated in-product. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Services.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where GoDizzy’s registered legal entity is organized, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction’s laws. Venue for disputes shall be in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law requires a different forum.
20. General
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Entire agreement. These Terms and any order or plan details you accept constitute the entire agreement on this subject.
Severability. If a provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
No waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Notices. We may send notices to your account email or through the Services.
